National Mathematics Day

Virtual celebration of National Mathematics Day was organized with great zeal and enthusiasm at M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka to commemorate the birth anniversary of the mathematics genius S. Ramanujan. The live event was wonderfully presented by the students with interesting programmes like comic strips, a poem and a song on mathematics, fascinating facts about mathematics, tricky yet intriguing vedic maths calculations and relation of mathematical angles with yoga poses.

Christmas Celebration

Christmas, the festival of joy and happiness; sharing and caring, was enthusiastically celebrated in a live assembly at M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka. Students
from classes Pre School to IV dressed up in red and white sang melodious carols and joyful jingles. The euphoria of the festival was apparent in the electrifying live
performances of the students.

NCC Day Celebration

The NCC unit of M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka celebrated 72nd NCC day virtually. Journey of NCC and experiences of NCC cadets in school till now, enlightening skit on ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, soulful musical and dance performances were wonderfully presented by girl NCC cadets in the virtual assembly.

Solution for Pollution

A live assembly was organized on the topic ‘Solution for Pollution’ by the Interact club of M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka to promote the need of solutions for pollution. The virtual programme comprised thought provoking speech, poem, and pledge. Adopting sustainable and ecofriendly way of living was beautifully presented by the students in the assembly.

Guru Nanak Jayanti


The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji was observed with great devotion at M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka through a virtual assembly. Soulful Gurbani,
enlightening speech and the great mool mantra of Guru Granth Sahib presented by the students inspired everyone to imbibe teachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji and taste the
nectar of inner peace.

Diwali Celebrations

The festival of Lights, Diwali was celebrated by M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka in an e-assembly. The event presented by Team Sanjeevani and Team Earth Link highlighted the importance of celebrating green Diwali. Different ways of spreading joy and happiness on this festival were showcased by the students through their brilliant performances like skit, song, speech etc.

Dussehra Celebrations

Dussehra is celebrated as a mark of victory of good over evil. The festival was celebrated with fervour through a virtual assembly. Programmes like dramatization of Ramayana, soulful bhajan on the life of Lord Rama and various others added exuberance to the eventful programme.

Creativity with German

A special assembly on ‘Creativity with German’ was conducted live by the students of classes VI to VIII. The students showcased their love for the language presenting speech highlighting the similarity between German and Sanskrit, an interesting skit and a scintillating musical performance in German. The highlight of the programme was a virtual tour to Germany.

Gandhi Jayanti

To commemorate the 151st birthday of the Father of the nation, a live special assembly was organized by the school on Gandhi Jayanti. Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings were wonderfully presented by the students through marvellous performances like dance, thought provoking speech, poems, and skit.

Investiture Ceremony

The virtual investiture ceremony for the session 2020-21 was yet again a special occasion for M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka where the young talents of the school were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school with commitment, confidence and competence. The solemn ceremony was graced by the school Principal and was watched live by parents, teachers and students.

Teacher’s Day

A special live assembly was conducted by students of class 12 to honor their teachers. Expressing adulation and gratitude to their teachers, students of class 12 presented a wonderful programme that comprised Guru Vandana, songs, dance, poems, and video presentations which touched the heart of the teachers.

Fight the Bite

The Interact Club of M L Khanna DAV Public School Dwarka like every year organised a special e-assembly on ‘Fight the Bite’ to spread awareness about vector borne diseases like dengue. These being the different times, the campaign was organised virtually with students presenting enriching programmes to empower people with simple and effective ways to keeping themselves safe from viruses and infections.

Special e-Assembly on Janmashtami

A special e-assembly was organized by Kala Sangam Club of school to celebrate Janmashtmi. The programme included bhajans, shlokas from Bhagvad Geeta, instrumental performance, dance performance etc. Principal Monika Mehan addressed the students from the premises of Raman Vihari Gaudiya Math and provided everyone the opportunity to pay respect to Lord Krishna.

Special e-assembly on Vanmahotsava

M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka celebrated Van Mahotsav to spread awareness about the need of planting trees. A special e-assembly was presented by the green brigade of Sanjeevani-the environment club and Earth Link. A plethora of online activities like poster making, was organized to sensitise the students about the importance of trees. The focus of the assembly was to motivate learners to become the protector of mother Earth and contribute their best in enhancing its beauty.

Special Assembly by Hindi Department

A special e-assembly was organized to show the love and respect for the Hindi language. Many activities like poem recitation, character depiction, play, poem recitation were presented. All the events highlighted the importance of Hindi and inspired the students to show their creativity in the language.

Special e-Assembly by Sanskrit Department

To promote Sanskrit, the language of the Vedas, a special e-assembly was organized by Sanskrit Department of school. A number of events were organised online in which many students participated enthusiastically. The programme included Sanskrit Song, story narration, Shlokochharan etc.

Independence Day Celebrations

A special e-assembly to celebrate the Independence Day was organized by M L Khanna DAV Public School, Dwarka. Flag hoisting by Principal madam in school premises was shown live to the students. Events like group song, dance and poem recitation filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervor.

e-Assembly on Physical Fitness

Most of us were confined to homes due to lock down. As a result our physical health was neglected. A special e-assembly was organised to create awareness on importance of physical health and also to introduce how simple exercises and yoga can be performed at home. Yoga and aerobics presented by students were demonstrated.


Welcome e-Assembly

The pandemic times made the schools think and adopt measures so that children do not miss their studies and other school activities and at the same time follow the guidelines issued by the government. Our school started online classes from Pre - School to Class XII. A special e-assembly was organised to welcome all the students on this new platform of learning and teaching.
